Trenchless Sewer Lateral Replacement and Pipe Bursting
Launching and receiving pits are dug for the job. Eliminating the need to dig up the entire distance from the the street (city main line) to the house with a trench.
The guide head is attached to the new pipe that will replace the old sewer pipe line.
The steel cable is then attached to the guide head.
The original pipe gets burst by the guide head and the new pipe is pulled through.
A look at the job the next day shows the minimal area that was dug up to replace the pipe as opposed to a full trench.
